Monday

​Sun Flow Yoga 9.30 am - 10.40 am at My Core Wellbeing in Guisborough

​

​A gentle vinyasa flow class characterised by the synchronised nature of breath & movement to a back drop of uplifting tunes! We begin with a gentle warm up to move & hydrate the joints before flowing through a range of accessible postures & movement practices. Each week is a new progressive mobility flow built around yogic pearls of wisdom. Sometimes we'll explore breathing practices, mantra or meditation; we'll always end with a deep relaxation.

This class is adaptable making it suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners. It includes variations to suit individual needs and fitness levels. Please email info@mycorewellbeing to book this class.

Ashtanga Yoga 6.00 pm - 7.30 pm in Great Broughton

Ashtanga is a form of classical yoga from Mysore, Southern India. It is derived from an ancient practice and philosophy characterised by following a set sequence of postures while synchronising movement with breath. This practice builds strength, flexibility, stability, clarity both mentally and physically.

Tuesday 

​​Ashtanga Inspired Flow 9.15 am - 10.30 am in Great Broughton Village Hall​

​

We'll take the basic foundation postures of Ashtanga Yoga but add a little creativity & flow as each week we focus on a different movement pattern. Each class comprises of a warm up, sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures, finishing postures & a generous relaxation alongside a clear focus on moving with the breath.  Attending class consistently helps to build strength, increase mobility, focus the mind, develop clarity & joy for life.

This class is adaptable making it suitable for both beginners and more experienced Yogis. Options throughout the class make it suitable to all. This style of yoga tends to appeal to those practitioners who enjoy a more physical door into the benefits of Yoga practice.

Each week is a new progressive mobility flow built around yogic pearls of wisdom. Sometimes we'll explore breathing practices, mantra or meditation; we'll always end with a deep relaxation.

Mysore Style Assisted Self Practice â€‹5.30 pm to 7.30 pm in Great Broughton

​

​The way the Ashtanga Yoga method is taught traditionally! Characterised by practitioners being guided to learn the set sequence on a one to one basis within a small group setting. The emphasis is on the practitioner learning the sequence and developing a self practice in order to nurture a deeper connection to the breath and body.

​​
